Graham Rouse is a designer, inventor, and world-recognized balloon artist. He earned a college degree in psychology from East Carolina University and Environmental Design from NC State University. He benefited from a year of graduate study at Duke University Divinity School. After college, he worked a dozen years with the state of North Carolina Division of Services for the Blind, where he rose from local Rehabilitation Counselor to a state-wide supervisory role. He left state government and turned a balloon hobby into a 40-plus-year professional career in balloon arts. He won numerous international design awards including "Artist of the Year" and earned five patents on advanced balloon art technologies. He developed more than 150 products and dozens of advanced techniques for using them based on his patents. He and his wife, Mary Queen Rouse, exhibited and taught his innovative tools and techniques on five continents. Covid-19 Pandemic and personal health issues sidelined him during recent years. He steps forward now at ROUSEings.com to share "Snippets From My Life And Our Times" with the goal of engaging you in conversations that enrich us all.
